It’s been a while since my last blog. Unfortunately my travel schedule was quite hectic the past 6+ weeks. Not only did I enjoy global travel to China, Singapore and Malaysia, but also travel within the US as well. I’m now enjoying week of catching up, before I continue again around the US and around the world.
The global trip again taught me that patience and persistence is key to success for global business. There is nothing more important than building a relationship, meeting face to face and reinforcing your commitment. Many US companies fail to understand how critical that is for doing business outside the US and that a phone call, email or web conference isn’t a substitute for good old fashioned face to face meeting.
I’ll try and be more active on my blogs during my travels. I think my future travels may take me to DC, Australia, Japan, Israel and possibly back to China between now and end of the calendar year.
